What can we do for you?

Everyone has a different perception of their own home and often what is in that person's head, is not happening in that home. We very often hear..."Oh, I love to come here for ideas"...then soon after that we hear..."it just doesn't look like it did in your store or online"! First of all, online shopping scares me. I am forced to do it through many of my vendors, but I don't like it! That is why I travel long distances and walk my feet off to find the most interesting things around.

The world is full of beauty and artists are always creating. It is in their DNA, they can't stop. (I like to give those talented folks their due.) I am happy that people like to browse, we encourage it! That is how you learn, how you acquire taste. Take adavntage of those that are skilled and ask for help. Designers have a wealth of knowledge, if you will just give them some freedom and a little trust, the results are pretty fabulous!

We offer help in these areas. We can teach you to put it together and recommend designers and other artisans and contractors to assist you in your quest. For those of you who know what you like, but need resources, we are here for you, too!

You don't have to live like a refugee!

Lady Caucasia

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!!!!!! Announcing the return of the one and only Lady Caucasia...after a long summer of relaxing at Fort White...scrapbooking until the papercuts and glue vapors were just too much....Ellen is coming back to resume her role as receiving director....good thing because that department is in need of some serious management....and all the fingerprints on glass tables, mirrors and eglomise chests are ready to be cleaned....and Janice just can not be bothered. If you visit the shop look for the blonde with the windex and introduce yourself to Lady C.

seasons change

summer in our region has peaked it seems...we are still under the brutal wonderful heat but those who live and play outside, beyond the comforts of climate controlled environments can surely feel wind and water shifting towards the next season...a season that might be called light summer....september can be mega hot too...but i love the heat...our sale has ended and we moved out some great pieces at huge discounts....difficult not to find something great with the entire store at thirty percent off regular retail...look for our next sale in the upcoming year....also check out Barbara's client in this issue of the islander...plscpv
